EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern Athletics and Beck's Bookstore encourage all fans to donate gently used books in conjunction with the Northwestern vs. Nebraska men's basketball game Feb. 2 at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Tip time is set for 6 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to visit Beck's (716 Clark St., Evanston) to donate prior to Feb. 2 to receive a ticket voucher which can be redeemed at the Northwestern ticket office through Feb. 1 or on game day inside the arena.
Fans may also bring their donation to the Beck's Mobile Van which will be parked outside the arena on game day. Beck's staff will issue a voucher which can be redeemed for discounted $20 tickets, limit four, inside Welsh-Ryan Arena. All donations will benefit Foundation 65, the educational foundation for Evanston-Skokie School District 65. The foundation requests children's and young adult books.
Season ticket holders are encouraged to donate as well. All season ticket holders who donate will be entered to win a $100 gift card to Beck's. In addition, Northwestern students are encouraged to donate. Students should check-in at the Wildside table upon arrival with their book atop section 117 to qualify to win a $100 Beck's gift card.
