EVANSTON, Ill. -- With the start of the lacrosse season just a few weeks away, head to the NU men's basketball game at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Saturday, Jan. 14, to meet several members of the defending NCAA champion Northwestern lacrosse program.
During a timeout in the first half, the team will be honored on the court for winning the 2011 NCAA championship and will have the chance to show off all six national championship trophies it has collected since 2005.
At halftime, the Wildcats will be available in the lobby of Welsh-Ryan Arena to sign autographs, take pictures and chat about the upcoming season.
Season tickets for Northwestern's 2012 campaign are available now by calling the NU ticket office at 1-888-GO-PURPLE. Ten-game season ticket packages are on sale at the low rates of $49 for adults, $29 for youths and $99 for family plans (two adults, three youths). Every purchase of a season ticket package will bring with it a replica 2011 NCAA championship ring, available only in this special offer.
