EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern travels to Bloomington Sunday for a 1 p.m. CT contest against the Hoosiers (5-11, 0-3). The game will be televised live on the Big Ten Network with Eric Collins and Stephanie White on the call. The Wildcats (10-5, 0-2) are in search of its first Big Ten victory after losing a 68-60 heartbreaker to Minnesota last time out.
After returning from the Hoosier State, Northwestern turns around and visits Columbus Thursday for a 6 p.m. CT tilt.
Last Time Out... Northwestern cut what was a 17-point second-half deficit to three with 37 seconds to play, but Minnesota would not give in and held on to defeat NU, 68-60, Thursday at Welsh-Ryan Arena. Junior forward Kendall Hackney led Northwestern with 17 points, including 12 in the second half, while freshman Morgan Jones added 16 and seven rebounds in the loss.

Kendall Hackney and Morgan Jones have been two busy Wildcats this year. The pair have combined for 48 percent (477/997) of Northwestern's offensive production and are first and third, respectively, on the team in rebounding.
Roser On The Rise
According to the most recent NCAA statistics, (1.5.12), freshman Karly Roser ranks 15th in the nation in assists per game (5.8). Roser is third in the Big Ten in that category. The Canadian turned in a career-best 14 points while adding a pair of assists in the Wildcats' Big Ten opener at Iowa. She now has tallied double figures in the last two games, and in three out of the last four outings.

In the most recent edition of both the Collegiate Basketball News' RPI (Rating Percentage Index) report as well as the inaugural NCAA RPI, Northwestern ranks 30th in the nation. Only four Big Ten teams rank ahead of the Wildcats, in Michigan (9th), Ohio State (14th), Purdue (23rd) and Penn State (26th).
