TULSA, Okla. -- Two members of Northwestern's men's tennis team concluded their run at the ITA All-American Championships, hosted by the University of Tulsa, on Tuesday.

Raleigh Smith (Miami, Fla./Gulliver Prep) and Spencer Wolf (Coral Springs, Fla./Laurel Springs) both participated in the prequalifying singles draw and the duo teamed up to play in the qualifying doubles draw as well. Teammate Joshua Graves (Milwaukee, Wis./Nicolet) was slated to play in the qualifying singles draw and the qualifying doubles draw alongside Wolf, but he was relegated to the sidelines with an injury.

Smith, a sophomore, lost his opening match in the prequalifying round to Utah's Ace Matias, 6-3, 6-1. Wolf had a bye in the first round of the prequalifying draw and advanced when his scheduled second round opponent, San Francisco's Jonathon Knowlman , withdrew form the competition. Wolf's run through the prequalifying singles draw skidded to a halt when he lost against Matthias Kidler of USC Upstate, 6-3, 6-2 on Sunday.

The duo rested Monday and received a bye in the first round Tuesday. Smith and Wolf would face Boise State's team of Damian Hume and James Meredith who entered the draw as the 12th-highest team in the draw. Hume and Meredith, ranked No. 51 in the Campbell's/ITA fall rankings, defeated the Wildcat entry in a tight match, 8-6.

Northwestern will now turn its attention to the ITA Midwest Regional Championships, which will take place in Columbus, Ohio from Oct. 13-17.
