EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern doesn't have to travel far for Wednesday's road game as it heads to Wish Field in Chicago to face in-state rival DePaul. Match time is scheduled for noon.

Last Time Out
Northwestern opened up Big Ten Conference action last Saturday night at Lakeside Field, hosting Michigan State. After 110 minutes of action, the Wildcats and Spartans finished in a 1-1 tie. Sophomore midfielder Kyle Schickel (Louisville, Ky./Saint Xavier) scored his first goal of the season in the 87th minute to even the score at 1-1. Northwestern had 14 shots in the match, including six on goal. Sophomores Lepe Seetane (Lesotho, Africa/Trinity) and Reed Losee (Lake Orion, Mich.) had three shots, two on goal, apiece. Freshman goalkeeper Tyler Miller (Woodbury, N.J./Bishop Eustace) registered 110 minutes in goal for the Wildcats and had one save. MSU only had three shots, two on goal, in the match.

Scouting DePaul
DePaul is 2-5-1 on the season and broke a six-match winless streak Saturday with a 2-1 win over Seton Hall in its Big East opener. David Selvaggi leads the Blue Demons with four goals this year.

Series History
Wednesday's game will be the 23rd matchup between the two in-state rivals. Northwestern holds the 14-7-1 advantage all-time and is 4-1 in the last five meetings against DePaul. Last year, Kyle Schickel, John Rogers (Birmingham, Mich./Detroit County Day) and Layth Masri (Louisville, Ky./Louisville Collegiate) each scored goals in NU's 3-2 win at Lakeside Field.

Wednesday's match features 16 players from the state of Illinois. Northwestern has five players on its roster from Illinois: freshman defender Peter Beasley (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central), junior goalkeeper Jonathan Harris (Arlington Heights, Ill./St. Viator), sophomore midfielder/defender Connor Holloway (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield), sophomore defender Scott Lakin (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) and junior midfielder Chris Ritter (Winnetka, Ill./New Trier).

Miller's Magic
Tyler Miller
has four shutouts on the season, which ties for second amongst Big Ten goalkeepers. He is third in the Big Ten in goals against average, allowing just 0.54 goals per game (four goals on the season). In the last three matches, Miller has allowed just one goal.

Balanced Attack
With his goal on Saturday, Schickel became the fifth different Wildcat to find the back of the net this season. Oliver Kupe (Clarkston, Mich./Clarkston) leads the team with three goals and Chris Ritter has two goals. Kyle Schickel, Reed Losee and Nikko Boxall (Auckland, New Zealand/Mt. Albert) have one goal each.
