BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. -- With light rain falling throughout the day and temperatures hovering in the mid-40s, Northwestern shot a 25-over 313 on Saturday and dropped two spots to 14th place in the 13th annual Bryan Intercollegiate, a tournament that features some of the nation's top women's golf programs. The final round will be played Sunday morning.

Every team in front of the Wildcats, with the exception of UNC Greensboro, which is a tournament co-host and familiar with the Bryan Park course, is ranked ahead of Northwestern in the latest GolfweekSagarin index. Northwestern is one stroke behind 13th-place UNCG and nine back of 12th-place Florida State.

After sharing team scoring honors on Friday, senior Kelsey Lindenschmidt (West Chester, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) led the Wildcats with a 5-over 77 on Saturday. She is now 9-over (76-77=153) for the tournament and sitting in 35th place. Sophomore Lauren Weaver (Scottsdale, Ariz/Cactus Shadows) is 10-over (76-78=154) for the tournament and in 40th place after the 6-over 78 she posted for the second round.

Junior Alex Lederhausen (Hinsdale, Ill./Central) is in 47th place at 11-over (77-78=155) after carding a 6-over 78 on Saturday. Freshman Devon Brown (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Cathedral Catholic) and senior Rebecca Lederhausen (Hinsdale, Ill./Central), are in 65th and 68th place, respectively. Brown shot a 10-over 82 on Saturday while the elder Lederhausen fired an 8-over 80.

Thirteen of the 17 teams in this year's Bryan field are ranked among the top-50 squads in the nation. Wake Forest, ranked 15th in the latest Golfweek/Sagarin ratings, moved ahead of round-one leader Tennessee with a 7-over 295. The Demon Deacons, who are co-hosting the event with UNCG, began the round six strokes back of the Lady Vols.

The final round begins at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Live scoring for the Bryan Intercollegiate is available at Golfstat.com.
