EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern travels to Bloomington, Ind., this week, Feb. 16-19, for the 2011 Big Ten Championships hosted by Indiana. Live results, a complete schedule and further information for the four-day meet can be found at the Official 2011 Big Ten Championships Website.

The Wildcats hope to translate their dual meet success this season to points at the Big Ten Championships, but their focus will be more on qualifying as many 'Cats as possible to the NCAA Championships in March.

Two Wildcats (senior Ellen Grigg and freshman Jackie Powell) already have NCAA `B' provisional qualifying times entering this week, while the NU 400 free and 800 free relays also have earned `B' cuts during the course of the regular season.

Northwestern has 10 different entries this weekend ranked in the top-16 in their event according to the conference top times listed at collegeswimming.com, headlined by sophomore breaststroker Jenny Wilson's fifth-place ranking in the 100 breast.

Also figuring strongly into the scoring mix are the diving tandem of sophomore Felicitas Lenz and freshman Cosima Lenz, who have the potential to notch big points at the conference meet while positioning themselves for a big run at the NCAA Zone Diving competition next month.

Northwestern is coming off its third-straight strong dual meet season, putting together a 9-5 overall record to move to 27-10 in duals over the past three seasons. More notably, 17th year head coach Jimmy Tierney earned dual-meet victory No. 100 during the final meet of the regular season after NU compiled a 3-1 mark at the Shamrock Invitational.

In addition to Powell, there are two other freshmen with the potential to earn solid points in their first Big Ten meet: distance freestylers Megan Goss and Erin Sosdian.
