EVANSTON, ILL. -- Northwestern welcomes fellow Land of Lincoln foe Illinois for a 7:30 p.m. contest Thursday evening at Welsh-Ryan Arena. The game will be carried live on the Big Ten Network with Dave Eanet and Mary Murphy on the call.
The Wildcats (14-8, 3-6) are looking to put the breaks on a four-game losing skid while Illinois has constructed a losing streak of its own, dropping the last five contests and falling to 7-15 overall and 2-7 in the Big Ten.

Jaeschke Added to State Farm Wade Watch List
Senior Amy Jaeschke was added to the 2010-11 State Farm Wade Watch Trophy Watch List, it was announced Wednesday. Jaeschke joins six other women's basketball players who were added to the preseason list of 25. The award goes to the nation's most outstanding NCAA Division I women's basketball player, one who not only excels athletically but also serves as a positive role model both on and off the court.
Last Time Against Illinois...
In a game that saw 10 lead changes, eight ties and overtime, Northwest- ern gutted out a 69-66 victory against Illinois at Assembly Hall on Jan. 9. Beth Marshall stepped up with a triple as the regulation horn sounded, sending the game into overtime where NU converted on 7-of-8 from the free throw line to earn the win. The victory marked the first time the Wildcats defeated Illinois since the 1998-99 season.
Jaeschke Cracks NCAA Division I Career Blocks List
Amy Jaeschke recorded her 336th block against Wisconsin Sunday, placing her name to the NCAA Division I career blocks list. The senior added one more swat on the afternoon, giving her 337 career rejections and tying her for 23rd all-time. Jaeschke currently ranks fifth in the nation with 3.8 blocks per outing.
'Cats Among Nation's RPI, Strength of Schedule Leaders
Northwestern owns an RPI of 52 in the this week's rankings. The Wild- cats are in good company, joining fellow Conference squads Iowa (12), Ohio State (18), Michigan State (19), Michigan (21) and Penn State (39) in the top 52. Additionally, the Wildcats' schedule is ranked 59th accord- ing to RealtimeRPI.com.

Four of Northwestern's final seven regular-season games will be aired live on the Big Ten Network. Tonight's game and the contest at Ohio State on Feb. 6 can be viewed on the tube as well as NU's final two games against Minnesota (Senior Day) and at Penn State.
