EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern sophomore Drew Crawford and his father, Danny, are being featured on Sunday's brand-new episode of The Journey: Big Ten Basketball 2011. The program debuts at 1:30 p.m. following the Wildcats' game with Wisconsin. It also re-airs Sunday at 4:30 and 7 p.m.
The award-winning, documentary-style program takes viewers deep inside Big Ten basketball programs, spending consecutive days with different Big Ten teams on a rotating basis during the 10-week march toward the Big Ten Tournament.
The 2010 Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Drew Crawford ranks third on the team this season with an average of 13.6 points per game. Danny Crawford is a longtime NBA referee who has worked numerous big games throughout his career, including Game 7 of last year's NBA Finals.
The Journey crew was at Northwestern on Monday to interview Drew before talking with Danny on Tuesday and attending that evening's victory by the Wildcats over Michigan.
