EVANSTON, Ill. -- Sunday's 1 p.m. tilt with Northern Arizona and a game against Toledo on Wednesday, Dec. 22 at 3 p.m. conclude Northwestern's grueling stretch of 12 days in which it plays five games to end the nonconference season. The game against the Lumberjacks will be carried live on the Big Ten Network with Dave Kelly and Patricia Babcock McGraw on the call. The Wildcats break for the holiday and return to action Thursday, Dec. 30 when they open the Conference season at Indiana. Action gets underway from Assembly Hall at 6 p.m. CT.

For Starters:
Three for 30
Amy Jaeschke's 33-point performance against Northern Illinois Wednesday was her third 30-point effort of the season, as she also reached that plateau against Chicago State (30) and versus Central Michigan when she poured in a career-best 37 points. Jaeschke is fifth in the nation in scoring, averaging 24.2 ppg.

Toeing the Line
Northwestern ranks fourth in the Big Ten in free-throw percentage (74.5 percent) but perhaps it is its ability to come execute when the game is on the line that is more impressive. Beth Marshall is especially accurate in the final minute, connecting on 14-of-16 attempts during that time. As a team, Northwestern is 28-of-32 from the line in the final 1:08 this season.

Jaeschke Records 1,500 Point
Senior Amy Jaeschke recorded the 1,500 point of her storied career at Northwestern against DePaul Monday night. The center is now eighth on NU's all-time career scoring list with 1,537 points.

Score!
Northwestern's 52.1 percent shooting effort against Northern Illinois was the highest in a game this season. Through its first ten contests, the Wildcats are shooting 45.8 percent from the field, and nearly 40 percent from deep. Amy Jaeschke leads NU with a 54.9 percent shooting clip while Brittany Orban is second in the Big Ten from three-point land, executing on 60 percent (15-of-25) of her attempts.
