24th-ranked Northwestern begins a four-match road swing against a pair of teams who began the week tied with the Wildcats for fifth-place in the Big Ten standings. Northwestern faces Purdue in West Lafayette, Ind., at 6 p.m. CT Friday before taking on Indiana in Bloomington at 6 p.m. CT Saturday.

Series Information
Northwestern and Purdue get together for the 71st time Friday evening with the Boilermakers holding a 44-26 lead in the all-time series. The Wildcats have won the last three meetings between the two, including a 3-2 victory at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Sept. 25, following a sweep of the Boilers in 2009. Saturday marks the 59th meeting between Northwestern and Indiana as the Wildcats hold a 30-28 lead in the all-time series following a 3-1 decision in Evanston on Sept. 24. The series has been tightly contested in the Keylor Chan era with Northwestern holding a 12-9 edge in the series since the 2000 season, including a 6-4 mark in Bloomington.
Moffett Garners Academic All-District V Second Team Honors
Sabel Moffett was named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V second team, announced Nov. 4 by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Moffett, who completed her bachelor's degree in psychology in June and is currently pursuing a master's degree in sports administration, became the the fourth Wildcat to earn Academic All-District honors, joining Alison Krumbien (first team in 1994), Melissa Doan (second team in 1998) and Stephanie Jurivich (third team in 2005 and first team in 2006). She was also one of five Big Ten players selected to the District V team.
Glab Notches Fourth-Consecutive 1,000 Assist Season
Senior Elyse Glab continues to make a name for herself in the Wildcat record books, becoming just the third player in Northwestern history to notch 1,000 assists in four consecutive seasons. Glab also became the third Wildcat to reach 4,500 career assists, accomplishing the feat in the upset over sixth-ranked Illinois Friday before notching a season-best 60 against Wisconsin Saturday. Glab, who has started at setter for Northwestern since her freshman season, currently sits third all-time in program history, needing 181 helpers to surpass Liz Renius (1995-98) to move into second. She has also established herself as one of the best in the Big Ten as well, ranking second in assists per set at 11.20 and has recorded 50-or-more assists in seven matches.
Moffett Moves Into Fifth All-Time In Blocks In Program History
Senior Sabel Moffett continues to establish herself among the Wildcats' all-time greats. Moffett recorded five blocks against Wisconsin Saturday evening, moving her past former teammate Brittney Aldridge into fifth all-time in program history in total blocks with 469. She also ranks fourth all-time in block assists (387) and eighth in solo blocks (82). Moffett posted a weekend to remember, recording 39 kills and a .531 hitting percentage, including a career-best 27 against the Badgers. Moffett, who holds the program single-season record for hitting percentage with .349 in 2009, currently sits first in the Northwestern record books with a career .316 hitting percentage, 12 points higher than second-place Erika Lange.
