2010 Landfall Tradition Round Two Results
2010 Landfall Tradition Round Three Tee Times WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Northwestern shot a 19-over 307 over the second round of the Landfall Tradition, two strokes better than its first round 21-over 309. But lower scores by the majority of the field moved the Wildcats into a tie for 14th-place with Texas Tech heading into Sunday's final round.

It was a big day for the Lederhausen sisters as both Alex and Rebecca (Hinsdale, Ill./Central) paced the Wildcats with a 3-over 75 over the second 18 holes. Alex Lederhausen moved into the top spot among the Northwestern competitors, compiling a two-round score of 9-over 153. She leads teammate Lauren Weaver (Scottsdale, Ariz./Cactus Shadows) by one stroke after Weaver's 7-over 79 upped her 36 hole score to 10-over 154.

Rebecca Lederhausen checks in at the third spot among the Wildcats with an 11-over 155 after her 3-over 75 round two performance. Anne Ormson (Granger, Ind./St. Anthony's) is two strokes back with a 13-over 157, followed by Devon Brown's (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Cathedral Catholic) 14-over 158.

Northwestern, which began the day in a three-way tie for 13th-place with Florida State and UT-Chattanooga, extended its lead over the Seminoles to seven strokes following FSU's 26-over 314 in round two. But the Mocs used a 15-over 303 to move into sole possession of 11th place in the team standings. The Wildcats enter Sunday's final round tied with Texas Tech, one stroke back of 13th-place Oklahoma State and two shots behind 12th-place North Carolina State. Chattanooga holds a four-stroke advantage on Northwestern with 10th-place Ohio State leading NU by six shots.

Duke, ranked sixth in the nation, moved into sole possession of first place in the team standings, posting a 4-under 284 on the day and sitting at 1-under 575 for the tournament. The Blue Devils lead fifth-ranked UCLA and 13th-ranked North Carolina by five strokes heading into Sunday's final 18 holes.

Northwestern will be teamed with a pair of Big XII schools in Oklahoma State and Texas Tech in Sunday's final round. The start will be slightly different than the previous two days as the players will begin with a shotgun start beginning at 7:45 a.m. CT with the Wildcats teeing off from holes 13, 14 and 15.
