EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern forward Chelsea Armstrong earned her fourth career weekly award from the Big Ten on Monday when the conference named her the Offensive Player of the Week. Armstrong scored four goals and added two assists as the Wildcats defeated both Colgate and William & Mary by 4-1 scores.

Armstrong was a constant threat against the Raiders, racking up 15 shots to seize the overall lead in the Big Ten in shots taken. After picking up an assist against Virginia Commonwealth on Friday, Armstrong scored twice in the first 12 minutes at William & Mary before assisting on NU's fourth goal later in the game to lead NU to victory.

The native of Perth, Australia, also currently leads the Big Ten in points (15) and goals (six). Armstrong has now tallied 28 goals in 26 career games at NU, leaving her just four away from cracking the school's top 10 list for career goals scored.

Armstrong and Northwestern (3-3) continue their eight-game road trip to start the 2010 campaign this weekend when they face Missouri State in St. Louis on Saturday.
