EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern University and the Big Ten Conference announced the kickoff time and television plans today for the Wildcats' first home game on Saturday, Sept. 11 versus Illinois State University.
Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. CT and the Big Ten Network (BTN) will televise the game.
The start time for the Wildcats' other home nonconference game, on Sept. 25 vs. Central Michigan University, will be announced 12 days (Sept. 13) prior to that contest. Kickoff times for Northwestern's two nonconference road tests -- at Vanderbilt on Sept. 4 and at Rice on Sept. 18 -- will be announced at a later date by the home institution and their respective conferences.
All Northwestern games can also be heard on WGN (720 AM, wgnradio.com) and WNUR (89.3 FM).

Northwestern is returning 16 starters from last year's squad, which finished 8-5 and earned a berth in the 2010 Outback Bowl.
