EVANSTON, Ill. -- If you're a supporter of Northwestern University, and in particular its football program, you don't want to miss out on the annual Northwestern Gridiron Network (NGN) Dinner and Auction, set for Saturday, April 24 in Welsh-Ryan Arena.
The auction, which is in its 17th year, is the primary fund-raiser for the NGN, Northwestern's football booster organization. The NGN Auction raises funds for many projects such as the creation of the players lounge, weight room renovation, laptop computers for coaches, even healthy snacks for the practice seasons. The goal is to return the team to the Rose Bowl!
The event begins at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction, along with an open bar and buffet dinner. At 8:15 p.m., the live auction gets underway.
Auction items range from vacation stays, restaurant gift cards, golfing, boating and fishing excursions with the coaches and many more exciting items. To learn more about the NGN auction or to make a donation, contact Tammy Walker, t-walker@northwestern.edu or call 847-467-4799.
Tickets for the event ($125 per person) can be purchased by calling Jean Yale at 847-491-3694 or email at j-yale@northwestern.edu.
