EVANSTON, Ill. -- Fans should plan to arrive early for the festivities around Senior Night at the Wildcat Men's Basketball game on Wednesday, March 3, at 7 p.m. CT. Before the game the Northwestern community will recognize the contributions made by the seniors on the men's basketball team. At halftime, the women's lacrosse team will receive their National Championship rings in an official ceremony.
As part of the Wildcat 3.0 promotion, children in the 8th grade and under can win two free tickets to the game if they submit a 2009-10 report card filled with all A's and B's (or that school's equivalent). Report cards must be received by Friday, Feb. 26, and can be emailed to wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu or faxed to 847-491-8818.
Plus, it's Heroes Day, so all armed services members and public safety officials and their families will receive FREE admission to the game when they present their valid identification card to the Box Office on gameday. The gameday sponsor, Goose Island Brewpub, has teamed up with the Veterans Association to produce commemorative dog tags for the first several hundred fans to the game.
