NU Hosts Carthage, Lewis; Women Also Travel to No. 16 Michigan

EVANSTON, Ill. -- After a pair of exhilarating wins at Notre Dame last week, Northwestern's men's team returns to Evanston Saturday to face Carthage and Lewis while the women take to the road at No. 16 Michigan. Both meets will begin at 1 p.m. CT, with NU's women who are not on the travel roster competing against the women's teams from Carthage and Lewis at the Norris Aquatics Center.

Carthage is an NCAA Division III school from Kenosha, Wis., and Lewis University is a Division II institution from Romeoville, Ill. Both visiting schools are bringing men's and women's teams Saturday, but only NU's men will field a full squad.

Northwestern's women's team enters Saturday's meet with the Wolverines in good shape after a thrilling win against Notre Dame. Kassia Shishkoff was named Big Ten Swimmer of the Week Tuesday after a stellar display, winning all three of her races and helping NU to victories in three of the last four races of the meet to complete a huge comeback.

The Wildcat men also defeated the Irish last Saturday, getting eight different season-best times from swimmers and divers in scoring positions.
