Northwestern to Hold Series of Clinics

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern Baseball is hosting a series of clinics in the upcoming weeks and months for youths ranging from age 8 to 18. All camps are being held in the Trienens Hall indoor turf facility and will be run by the Wildcat coaching staff.

The Wildcats will host a series of clinics for youths ages 12 to 18 on Wednesdays beginning on Oct. 28 and running through Nov. 25. This particular camp is designed to advance the development of all baseball skills with a concentration on hitting and fielding. Each session will run from 7:15 p.m. until 8:45 p.m. with registration and check-in at 7 p.m. Cost is $75 per session or $275 for all four sessions.

Northwestern is also hosting a Thanksgiving clinic Nov. 27 and 28 for kids ages 8 through 18. Session 1 for kids ages 8-12 will run from 9 a.m. until noon both days while Session 2 for those ages 13-18 will run from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. This particular clinic is designed to advance the development of all baseball skills, including pitching, hitting and fielding. Cost is $200. Registration is online for this event.

Finally, the Wildcats will hold their Christmas Baseball Showcase Dec. 28 and 29. This showcase is open to all high school students with sessions running from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. both days. The clinic is an opportunity for high school students to learn more about the Northwestern baseball program while allowing them to showcase their baseball skills and abilities. Registration is online for the event and the cost is $200.
