EVANSTON, Ill. -- For the sixth time in the seven years since the award program's inception, the Northwestern Marketing Department was honored at the National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) convention. The awards, which are administered by the National Association for Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), were started in 2003 and currently feature 13 different categories.
The 2009 NACMA awards were announced on June 18 at the NACMA Awards Presentation at the Marriott World Center in Orlando, Fla. The Wildcats took third place in the New Revenue Generating Idea category with their Infiniti Networking Nights that were held before three men's basketball games last season.

Cunningham, who recently completed MBA studies at NU's Kellogg School, presented the highest-attended sessions of the entire NACMA Convention on Strategic Marketing Plans.
A member of the NACMA Board, Hitz spoke at the basic training session for people just starting out in the industry and served as the moderator for the Female Administrators Panel that featured Potter along with three assistant and associate athletic directors.
