EVANSTON, Ill. -- Freshman Eric Chun (Ansung City, South Korea/International Christian School) and junior David Lipsky (La Canada, Calif./La Canada) have been named Division I PING All-Midwest Region selections by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
The pair, which also earned All-Big Ten second-team accolades, helped lead Northwestern into the NCAA National Championships for the first time since 2006 and the sixth time under head coach Pat Goss. Chun is the 2009 Big Ten Champion and Big Ten Freshman of the Year, while Lipsky finished second on the team in stroke average and compiled six top-20 finishes.
