WACO, Texas -- A meandering front is producing steady rains that have the second day of the Waco Regional in a holding pattern. Northwestern was scheduled to face Louisiana-Lafayette in an elimination game at 4 p.m. following the winner's bracket contest between Baylor and Texas State, but all of Saturday's games will be delayed.
5 p.m. CT UPDATE: The weather has passed through Waco, but much work now is needed to make the field playable. The Baylor vs. Texas State contest is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. CT with the Northwestern vs. Louisiana-Lafayette match-up slated for 10:30 p.m. CT. If there are any additional changes (and none are anticipated) they will be announced on this page.
