If you missed out last year when the 'Cats finished with a 9-3 regular-season record, a Top-25 ranking and an appearance in the Alamo Bowl, now is the time to make sure you are ready for the 2009 season that features home games against these Big Ten foes:
Penn State: The Nittany Lions have won the Big Ten title twice in the last four years, including last season which resulted in a trip to the Rose Bowl. The match-up this year at Ryan Field will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. on Halloween and will be televised on one of the ABC family of networks.
Wisconsin: After a two-year hiatus, the rival Badgers are back on the Wildcats' schedule. The two teams have split their last 10 meetings, one of which was a wild 51-48 Northwestern win over No. 14 Wisconsin in their last Ryan Field meeting in 2005.
Minnesota: The 'Cats have won the last two meetings in dramatic fashion, including a double-overtime victory on homecoming in 2007 and a last-second win in 2008 when Brendan Smith turned in his memorable "pick-six" with 12 seconds left.
Indiana: Don't miss this year's homecoming game as the Wildcats take on the Hoosiers, who are seeking their second bowl berth in three seasons.
