EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern returns to tournament action this Friday through Sunday, March 27-29 at the FAU Spring Break Championship on the Legends Course at Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach, Fla.
The tournament consists of one round on each of three days on the 6,723 yard, par-72 Legends Course. Tee times are from 11:30 a.m. ET -- 1:15 p.m. ET on Friday and Saturday, and from 7:30 a.m. ET -- 8:45 a.m. ET on Sunday. Schools will tee off on both the front and back sides.
The 14-team field has representatives from the Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Conference-USA, Mid-American and Sun Belt conferences. The University of Illinois (No. 7), University of Michigan (No. 40) and University of Iowa (No. 46) enter the tournament ranked among the nation's top-50 teams.
Marquette University's Mike Van Sickle (No. 11), Illinois' Scott Langley (No. 13), Ohio State University's Vaughn Snyder (No. 31), Iowa's Cole Peevler (No. 35), Northwestern University's David Lipsky (La Canada, Calif./La Canada) (No. 36) and the University of Missouri's Peter Malnati (No. 44) are ranked among the nation's top 50 individuals.
