LAWRENCE, Kan. -
Thunderstorms and lightning have forced the suspension of the Northwestern baseball team's game with Kansas Saturday night. The game will resume in the bottom of the third inning at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Kansas led the game 2-1 with one out in the bottom of the third when there was a flash of lightning that delayed the game for over 40 minutes.
The Jayhawks and Wildcats will complete the third game of the four-game series, before beginning the final contest approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the suspended game.
