EVANSTON, Ill. -- Due to the success of the first Grossinger Perfect Serve Contest, the No. 1-ranked Northwestern's women's tennis team is excited to announce a second chance for fans to win a Pontiac G6. Wildcat fans can submit their guesses of how many tennis balls are packed inside the Pontiac G6 located outside of Combe Tennis Center throughout the remainder of the women's tennis season. The fan who comes closest to the correct number of tennis balls will have a chance to hit a target with the perfect serve at the April 19 match vs. Penn State.
On Sunday, March 1, Harry Romejko became the first winner of the Grossinger Perfect Serve Contest after guessing within 30 the actual number of tennis balls in the car. Harry won the chance to take the court to serve to win the car. Harry hit a great serve, but just missed the target. Coach Claire Pollard and her squad were on hand to congratulate the winner, sending him home with a brand new tennis racket.
For a second chance at winning the car, enter at any of the remaining home women's tennis matches: March 13 at 5 p.m. against Illinois, March 14 at 2 p.m. against Indiana, April 4 at noon against Notre Dame, April 5 at noon against Purdue, April 18 at noon against Ohio State, or April 19 at noon against Penn State. You must be 16 years of age or older to enter and entries are limited to one guess per person per match. Entrants must be present on April 19 to have a chance to win the car.
Admission and parking for Women's Tennis matches are FREE. Depending on weather, matches are either played at the Combe Tennis Center (indoor) or the Vandy Christie Tennis Center (outdoor).
