RIO GRANDE, P.R. -- Sophomore Innapha Tantanavivat's (Bangkok, Thailand/David Leadbetter Academy) 4-over 76 was tops among Wildcat golfers, as she now sits atop the NU leaderboard with an 11-over 155 after the first two rounds of the Lady Puerto Rico. The 'Cats, who began the day in a tie for 13th-place, shot a 24-over 312, slipping down a spot to 14th with a 53-over 629 (317-312) heading into the final day of competition.

Northwestern saw a trio of golfers put together rounds in the 70s Monday, as freshman Alexandra Lederhausen (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale Central) also shot a 4-over 76 on the day, and sits at 19-over 163 (87-76) for the tournament. Sophomore Kelsey Lindenschmidt (West Chester, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) was a stroke off the pace at 5-over 77, and currently sits second on the Wildcat scorecard with a 15-over 159 (82-77). Senior Jennifer Hong (Windermere, Fla./The First Academy) shot an 11-over 83 and is currently third on the squad at 17-over 161 (78-83), one stroke better than freshman Kylie Fuller's (Temecula, Calif./Chapparal) 18-over 162 (78-84).

NU enters the final round in a 14th-place tie with Big Ten opponent Indiana, trailing 13th-place Texas Tech by two strokes and is three shots behind both Iowa State and Oklahoma. Purdue, who is serving as the host of the tournament, used an even-par 288 to break away from the pack and holds a 10-stroke lead (16-over 592) over second-place Georgia and is 11 shots better than third-place TCU heading into the final 18 holes. North Carolina State is fourth at 34-over 610, with Kent State and Tennessee tied for fifth with a 36-over 612.

Tuesday's final 18 holes gets underway at 6:30 a.m. Central time from the Coco Beach Golf Course. Live scoring of the final round will NOT be available, but final results can be found at NUsports.com
