Things Are Heating Up at Welsh-Ryan Arena So Purchase Your Tickets Today

EVANSTON, Ill. - Don't be left out in the cold when the Wildcat men's basketball team is heating up Welsh-Ryan Arena this winter. Northwestern (12-7, 4-5 Big Ten) has won the four out of its last five games, including wins over No. 7 Michigan State and No. 18 Minnesota.

Big Ten Basketball fans only have five more chances to see the 'Cats play at home this season so take advantage of this affordable family entertainment by purchasing your tickets for only $20 today. Only a few tickets remain for U.S. Cellular Day on Feb. 12 at 8 p.m. when the Wildcats take on in-state rival and 19th-ranked Illinois. Arrive early to avoid traffic and to receive a purple headband compliments of U.S. Cellular while supplies last.

There is even more fun planned for the Wildcats' game against Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 15 at 2 p.m. It's Kids Day which means half-price admission for kids in the 8th grade and under - that's only $10 per ticket. (Offer valid on the day of the game only.) Plus, before the game kids can hang out with members of the Wildcat football team in the special kids activities area that features face painting, Wildcat crafts, balloon animals and more. After the game all fans are invited to the autograph session with the basketball team.

The promotions keep coming for Northwestern Memorial Hospital Night at the Wildcats' Wednesday night game against Ohio State at 8 p.m. on Feb. 18. Before the game, Infiniti is presenting the final Networking Night of the season. After two successful networking events for Careers in Sports and Law earlier this season, Infiniti rounds out the series with Careers in Medicine. This event provides fans with a chance to meet leaders, colleagues and friends in the various industries, as well as learn about job openings or career development opportunities. For $35 participants can arrive an hour before tip-off for speed networking and free appetizers compliments of Bravo! The introductions and mingling will continue into the game as all participants will receive a seat in the Infiniti Networking section.

To be a part of this event, participants must purchase their tickets by clicking here and entering the promotional code INTMN by noon on Feb. 17. Season ticket holders can participate in the pregame Infiniti Networking Session at no additional cost but should RSVP to wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu in advance and will need to sit in their assigned seats for the game. The final special event of the season is the Senior Day ceremony before the Wildcats' game against Iowa on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 1 p.m. Bring a group and arrive early as we honor our senior class, including 1,000-point scorer Craig Moore.

Group tickets are available for all remaining home games except Illinois so organize a group of 20 or more people to purchase tickets at half-price - that's only $10 per ticket for Big Ten Basketball. Groups will receive special reserved block seating, a welcome message on the scoreboard and gift for the group leader.
