EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's inaugural Networking Night featured professionals from the White Sox, Bears, Fire, Big Ten Conference Office, ESPN Radio, Northwestern Athletics and Intersport. The featured speaker for the event was sports marketing author, consultant and educator, Dan Migala, who provided advice on how to realize and obtain your dream. Migala is living his dream as he enjoys the success of his first book, Dugout Wisdom, and he was recently named the director of the Northwestern University Master of Arts in Sports Administration Program.
At the inaugural Infiniti Networking Night, Lee Sicinski and Bob Laskowski from the Chicago Bears talked with people interested in breaking into the sports industry.  |

After Migala's speech, all of the participants took part in a Speed Networking exercise that allowed them to interact with almost everyone in the room. To insure all participants were able to spend time with the Chicago sports professionals, the networking session was moved into the reserved seats in Welsh-Ryan Arena, which provided a less formal atmosphere to continue conversations throughout the Wildcats' exciting victory over Florida State.

The Wildcats are hosting three more Infiniti Networking Nights at Welsh-Ryan Arena this season so be sure to take advantage of these chances to learn about career opportunities, meet friends and chat with industry leaders. The cost includes a pregame networking session with appetizers provided by Bravo in downtown Evanston and a ticket to the Infiniti Networking section at the men's basketball game. Careers in Medicine – Wednesday, February 18 vs. Ohio State
