Towson pounced out to the early lead in the second set, building a 13-7 lead on the `Cats. But another 10-2 run put Northwestern back on top 17-15 for a lead they wouldn't relinquish. The Tigers kept it close, but a block by senior Kelly Keporos (Downers Grove, Ill./North) sealed the 27-25 second set victory for the Wildcats. Hyser and Moffet again paced NU with three kills and sophomore Elyse Glab (Chicago, Ill./Resurrection) aided the cause with 12 assists.
