EVANSTON, Ill. -- With the rising cost of gas, groceries and life in general, the Wildcats created new discounted ticket offers in addition to fan-favorite promotional days in 2008. Plus, fans can purchase season tickets, which means discounts off the single-game ticket price, great seat locations for every game, ability to purchase parking and invitations to special events.

September 13 vs. Southern Illinois at 11 am (Big Ten Network)
Take A Kid to the Game Day
Bring the whole family out to Ryan Field for a day with the Wildcats. Two children (8th grade and under) admitted FREE with each adult ticket purchased at regular price. That's less than $9 per person! Offer valid on day of game only and may not be combined with any other offer. After you play at Wildcat Alley before the game, enter through Gate J to receive this special discount for you and your family.
Heroes' Day
Join us as we honor our heroes throughout the day beginning with activities in Wildcat Alley before the game, as well as special events during the game. To be part of this day's activities, e-mail us your stories and photos about your heroes and we will include them on the videoboard during the game. Admission is free for all identified armed service and public safety officials and their families for this game, but the offer is only valid on the day of the game so be sure to enter through Gate J when you arrive at Ryan Field.
WGN Radio's Football Family Feud Day
Tell us about your NU-SIU Football Family Feud for your chance to win tickets to the in-state rivalry game. The grand prize winner will also stop by the WGN Radio booth during the game to meet Dave Eanet and Ted Albrecht! Submit your stories and photos of your friends and family who are divided whenever the Wildcats face off against the Salukis for your chance to win. All photos will be put on the videoboard throughout the game. You can send your stories and photos to wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu or listen to WGN Radio every Wednesday for your chance to win tickets to NU home football games during Wildcat Wednesdays presented by U.S. Cellular. You have chances to win tickets to football and basketball games every Wednesday all year long, so support the station that supports the 'Cats!
Band Day
Strike up the bands for an entertaining Wildcat Football game beginning with the pregame band show through the postgame band show. In addition to the NU Marching Band, a dozen high school marching bands and the Southern Illinois band will take the field to perform throughout the day.

Northwestern Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day
To show appreciation for everything they do throughout the year, NU faculty and staff members can take a break at a Wildcat Football game by getting a break on the regular ticket price. Full-time faculty and staff members can purchase tickets at half-price ($13) for this game, so e-mail wildcatmarketing@northwesern.edu to receive the special code to take advantage of this great price. Plus, submit photos of your favorite NU memories to be included on the videoboard throughout the game.
October 11 vs. Michigan State at 11 am (Big Ten Network)
Scout Day
Scout Troops can purchase end zone seats at half-price ($18)! Plus, all members will receive the official Scout Day patch, a welcome message on the videoboard, take part in scout activities at Wildcat Alley before the game and the troop that brings the largest group to the game will have its picture taken on the field during the game! Homecoming and Hall of Fame Day
NU alums will be returning to campus to cheer on the Wildcats, as well as be part of our celebration of Pat Fitzgerald's induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
November 22 vs. Illinois
Youth Football Day
Youth football teams can purchase half-price end zone tickets ($18), will have their team included in the welcome message on the videoboard and the team that brings the largest group will have its picture taken on the field during the game. Single-Game Ticket Information
Single game tickets for all 2008 home games are on sale now and can be ordered by calling 847.491.CATS, visiting the Wildcats' online ticket office, or calling Ticketmaster. They may also be purchased in person at the Ryan Field Ticket Office at 1501 Central Street in Evanston.
Single-game ticket prices are $35 for the three nonconference games (Syracuse, Southern Illinois, and Ohio) and $50 for the four Big Ten games (Michigan State, Purdue, Ohio State, and Illinois). Northwestern will again sell reduced-price end zone seats, offering $25 seats for the three nonconference games, and $35 seats for Michigan State, Purdue and Illinois only. No reduced-price seats will be sold for the Ohio State game.

For fans planning to attend multiple home games, the best deal is to purchase season tickets or one of three three-pack plans.
Three-Pack Plans
Three-Pack Plans provide a discounted ticket price, a better seat location than single-game tickets and invitations to exclusive events throughout the year.

Season Ticket Plans
Season Ticket Plans provide a discounted ticket price, the best seats available for every home game, a chance to purchase a season parking pass, priority points, the opportunity to purchase single-game tickets before they go on sale to the public and invitations to exclusive events throughout the year.

NU Faculty & Staff - $186 (Limit 2)
End Zone (Sections 117-121) - $132
NU Young Alums (Classes 2004-08 in Sections 135-136) - $114 (Limit 4)
NU Graduate & Part-Time Students (Sections 135-136) - $114 (Limit 4)
Family Plan (2 adults and 3 children under 18 in Sections 115-116) - $420 --- that's a savings of almost $1,000 off the single-game ticket price!
Group Ticket Information
For groups of 50 or more, they can purchase sideline seats at half-price,which is only $18 for nonconference and $25 for conference. NOTE: Group rate not available for the Nov. 8 Ohio State game. Group ticket benefits include: reserved block seating, group message on the scoreboard, exclusive group merchandise drawings, and five gameday programs. Group tickets must be purchased in advance.
Gameday Traditions
Wildcat Alley
This pregame fan fest area opens two hours before every home game and is located just steps north of Ryan Field. Fans can enjoy food, games, entertainment, music, face-painting and much more. Admission is free for everyone and is made possible with the support of Northwestern Athletics and Goose Island Pub.
Walk With Us
Honor late head coach Randy Walker by joining the band, cheerleaders, Willie the Wildcat and other Wildcat fans on Walker Way two-and-a-half hours before the game to greet the team when they arrive at Ryan Field.
Walker Terrace
Stop by this mini-Wildcat Alley that is open at the start of the game and shuts down when the game ends. Walker Terrace features interactive games, concession stands, a unique view of the game, face painting and more. Plus, at halftime Wildcat coaches compete against fans in the Chipotle Challenge, which means you could win Chipotle burritos is you beat our coaches in the bean bag toss!
