Roadtrip to Kenosha for the Wildcat Football Scrimmage on Saturday, August 16
It's time for a summer roadtrip! The Wildcat Athletic Department has teamed up with Chicago Classic Coach as well as the NU Clubs of Chicago and Milwaukee for a roadtrip to Carthage College in Kenosha and a tailgate before the scrimmage. Seats on the bus will be allocated on a first-come, first serve basis, and the bus will leave Ryan Field at 11:30 a.m. You must RSVP for a seat on the bus in advance. Fans are welcome to drive themselves to Carthage College for the scrimmage, as well. The scrimmage will kickoff at 3 p.m.
Season ticket holders can ride the bus and enter into the pre-scrimmage tailgate for $5 and non-football season ticket holders can ride the bus and enter for $10 per person. If you are driving yourself, you will still need to register for the tailgate at $5 for season ticket holders and $10 for non season ticket holders.
The road trip and tailgate are weather permitting, so be sure to check NUsports.com to confirm the event will take place or e-mail wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu.

Take I-94 WEST to Highway E. Go east on Highway E to Sheridan Road. At Sheridan, go right. Approximately two miles down on the left will be the Carthage College athletic facilities. For more directions, click here.
Wildcats' Season Kickoff at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 19 -- Goose Island on Clark
Several of the Wildcat coaches and staff members will be on hand to support head Women's Lacrosse coach Kelly Amonte Hiller at Goose Island in Wrigleyville before she sings the 7th Inning Stretch at the Cubs game that night. Wildcat fans are invited to this special event to mingle with coaches, staff members and alums as we get ready for the upcoming seasons. The event will begin at 5 p.m. and fans are welcome to stay to watch the game there as well. Wildcat coaches will come through to talk with fans throughout the night with Kelly Amonte Hiller stopping by at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Football Meet the Team Night at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 22 -- Ryan Field
The Wildcats are excited to announce a new format for the annual Meet the Team Night where fans will have more chances to hang out with the members of the team. This interactive event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will feature insight for the season directly from Coach Fitzgerald, games with the team and pictures with the your favorite Wildcats. Plus, Wildcat Football season ticket holders will receive special treatment in the VIP area with former football team members and complimentary snacks and Pepsi products. Admission is free for all fans to Meet the Team Night 2008 so make plans to be at Ryan Field on Friday, August 22.
