EVANSTON, Ill. -
ESPN announced today the start times and television designations for the 2008 ACC/Big Ten Challenge games. Northwestern's home game against Florida State will be the final game of the Challenge to tip, doing so at 8:30 p.m. on December 3. The game will be televised live by ESPN2.
For the fourth consecutive year, the event will feature 11 games and will include two telecasts on ESPNU, the 24-hour college sports network. ESPN and ESPN2 will combine to televise the remaining nine games. The 2008 ACC/Big Ten Challenge schedule, including times and outlets, is listed below.
Northwestern is 2-7 in its first nine ACC/Big Ten Challenge games. The Wildcats dropped a 94-52 decision at Virginia last season. Florida State has won two of the previous three Challenge meetings with NU.
