TULSA, Okla. -- With top-ranked Northwestern eliminated from team contention for an NCAA national title, four Wildcats are prepared to vie for a national crown in both the singles and doubles championships. The first round of singles action kicks off on Wednesday, May 21, with the doubles championship commencing Thursday.

The singles championship field consists of 64 of the nation's top collegiate women's tennis players. The top players are seeded individually 1-8, with the next tier of individuals grouped as a 9-16 seed. The remaining 48 singles players are not seeded.
