EVANSTON, Ill. -
Saturday afternoon's scheduled baseball contest between Northwestern and Minnesota has been canceled due to rain. The teams attempt to get their series underway with a doubleheader beginning at noon Sunday.
The Wildcats and the Golden Gophers entered the weekend tied for fifth place in the Big Ten with identical 3-5 conference records.
