LOUISVILLE, Ky. -
As is often the case when baseball is attempted to be played in the Midwest in early March, there stands the chance of inclement weather. At least that happened to be the case this weekend, as Northwestern's scheduled three-game series at Louisville was completely wiped out due to snow.
After Friday's scheduled opener was canceled, things didn't appear much better Saturday morning as the remaining two contests were wiped out as well.
The Wildcats attempts to return to action next Thursday, Friday and Saturday as they are slated to play at three-game series at cross-town foe UIC.
