TUSCALOOSA, Ala.-- Northwestern slipped five places to 17th during second round play Saturday at the UA-Ann Rhoads Intercollegiate, shooting a 38-over 322 as a team.

The Wildcats are one stroke behind Kansas, while leading Samford by 24 strokes. Arkansas leads the tournament with a 27-over 595 after two days of play.

Jennifer Hong (Windermere, Fla./The First Academy) shot NU's low round of the day with a 8-over 79, giving her a 15-over 157 through the first two days of competition. She currently is in 62nd place.

Leading NU in the standings is Katie Trachok (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair), who is in 42nd with a 12-over 154 after firing a 9-over 80 in the second round. Kelsey Lindenschmidt (West Chester, Ohio/Ursuline Academy) also had a 9-over 80 on Saturday, leaving her in 57th place with a 14-over 156.

Both Rebecca Lederhausen (Hinsdale, Ill./Hinsdale Central) and Brittany Johnston (Akron, Ohio/Walsh Jesuit) shot rounds of 12-over 83 for NU Saturday.
