KENOSHA, Wis. -- Weather forced the Wildcats to move their Tuesday practice from UW-Parkside to Carthage College where NU practiced for two hours in full pads once again. The team will not practice again today and will spend the rest of the afternoon in meetings and the weight room.

Another two-a-day awaits Wednesday with the first beginning at 8 a.m. at Parkside. The evening session takes the Wildcats back to Carthage to practice under the lights beginning at 6 p.m.

After practice today, NUsports.com caught up with quarterback C.J. Bachér to ask him a few quick questions about camp and the team.

NUsports.com: You look like you're having fun out there during camp. Is that the case?
Bachér: Yes definitely. It's getting a lot more fun each time. I feel like we're starting to get a lot more crisp in our passing game. When that happens, a lot of fun comes along with that.

NUsports.com: Your arm strength and accuracy are very good so far. Is that something you worked on this off-season and how important is rhythm in an offense like this?
Bachér: We've really been working a lot during the summer and I feel like we've really got our timing down with our receivers. They're getting in and out of routes and giving me a target to throw the ball. Rhythm is very important, especially in a spread offense like we have. It's all about timing and hitting people in open spaces and sometimes that space is only open for a little bit.

NUsports.com: You are the No. 1 guy entering camp. Are you excited to show what you can do in a full and healthy season?
Bachér: Well for me it's all about the team and whatever I can do to help this group of guys to win. I don't really worry about myself so much as I do helping us reach our goals.

NUsports.com: What kinds of things did (offensive coordinator) Coach McGee stress to you this off-season and now during camp?
Bachér: Taking care of the ball. We have a lot of playmakers and we feel the only thing that can kill us is turnovers. We need to stay away from Northwestern beating Northwestern. If we do that, we have a chance to accomplish some great things this year.

NUsports.com: This team has a lot of starters back. How good do you think this team can be?
Bachér: This is the best team that I've seen since I've been here. We feel like we can compete with anybody. We've got playmakers everywhere, Tyrell Sutton is back and we have a lot of receivers that can make plays in Ross Lane, Eric Peterman, Tonjua Jones just to name a few. And our offensive line is looking very good. Trevor (Rees) is leading that group real well and they're really impressing all of us.

NUsports.com: What do you enjoy most about Camp Kenosha?
Bachér: Just getting away and being around the guys.
