Big Ten/ACC Challenge for Women's Basketball

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern will host Wake Forest in the inaugural Big Ten/ACC Challenge for women's basketball on November 28, 2007, it was announced by the conference office today. The event, which matches 11 teams from each conference, will span four years, beginning in the fall 2007.
"This is a great opportunity for the Big Ten," head coach Beth Combs said. "To pit two great conferences against each other for bragging rights is exciting for the game and we are looking forward to this conference challenge."
