EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Big Ten Conference announced today that Northwestern's homecoming contest versus the Minnesota Golden Gophers will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday, Oct. 13.
The game will be televised by either ESPN, ESPN2 or the Big Ten Network. Like most Big Ten contests, television plans will be announced 12 days prior to kickoff.
Northwestern and Minnesota have not met on the gridiron since the 2004 season. This will be the Gophers' first visit to Ryan Field since Oct. 4, 2003.
