EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's women's fencing team opened the 2007 USFCA College Fencing Coaches Poll at No. 5. The Wildcats are 16-1 this season with its only loss to No. 8 Penn.
The Big Ten is well represented in the first poll of the new year, as Penn State is No. 1, followed by NU at No. 5 and Ohio State No. 6.
