EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern junior Stephanie Jurivich (LaGrange, Ill./St. Ignatius) has earned first-team ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V honors as voted on by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Jurivich, a mathematics major, was a third-team selection last season, becoming the first Wildcat to earn multiple CoSIDA academic accolades in program history. She is the second 'Cat to earn first-team Academic All-District honors, joining Alison Krumbein who received the nod in 1994. She is a two-time Academic-All Big Ten selection, as well.

Jurivich is averaging 11.37 assists, 2.09 digs and 1.16 kills per game for Northwestern this season after earning the starting setter position prior to the year.

As a first-team All-District selection, Jurivich will be placed on the ballot for ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America consideration.
