Northwestern fell to 1-1 on the season and 0-1 at home. Today's game vs. New Hampshire is just the Wildcats' second game against an NCAA Division I-AA school. NU defeated Princeton in 1986 in its only other game versus a I-AA opponent.
RB Tyrell Sutton's 61-yard run in the first quarter is the second-longest of his career. Sutton had a 62-yard dash against Wisconsin last season.
Sutton is now tied for 10th on Northwestern's career rushing touchdown list with 17. He missed his seventh career 100-yard game (in 14 total games played) by one yard. He has 20 career TD's (17 rushing, 3 receiving).

Herbert moved into 11th place on NU's career pass receiving yardage list. He now has 1,500 career yards.
LB Nick Roach totaled 10 tackles today, marking the second time he has paced Northwestern in stops this season. Roach had eight tackles in the win over Miami (Ohio).
DT John Gill recorded his first career sack.
