EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern senior Matt Grevers (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) and junior Andrea Hupman (Lawrenceville, Ga./Brookwood) have been named to the 2007 U.S. World University Games team, with each scheduled to swim one individual event and one relay.
Both Grevers and Hupman will swim the 100 free and 4x100 relay for their respective U.S. squads. This berth on the U.S. team is the second for both swimmers -- Hupman won a pair of gold medals on two relay squads while Grevers earned four medals at the 2006 WUG.
The 2007 World University Games will be held Aug. 8-18, 2007 in Bangkok, Thailand. For the complete U.S. National Team roster, link to USAswimming.org.
