EVANSTON, Ill. -- The Northwestern Wildcats will honor public safety officials and armed service members at NU's home opener against New Hampshire on Saturday, Sept. 9 at 1 p.m. All identified members and their families will be admitted free into the game (Please enter through Gate J on the day of the game only to receive free tickets).
The Wildcats also will honor Randy Walker at the home opener with special tributes to this Wildcat hero. Wildcat fans are encouraged to submit stories about their heroes to be included in our Heroes' Day activities on September 9. Please send your stories to wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu.

September 9 vs. New Hampshire
Heroes' Day: All identified armed services members and public safety officials will be admitted free to this game. Please pick up your free tickets at Gate J on the day of the game. Advanced tickets for this offer are not available.
North Shore Community Day: City of Evanston employees, members of the Evanston Chamber of Commerce and members of the North Shore Convention and Visitor's Bureau can purchase tickets for only $15! Tickets must be purchased in advance through the Wildcat Ticket Office (847.491.CATS).
Wildcat Kids' Club Purple Pride Day: All Wildcat Kids' Club Purple Pride members will receive a free ticket to this game. Tickets must be picked up in advance. To join the Wildcat Kids' Club, please contact wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu.
September 16 vs. Eastern Michigan
Take A Kid to the Game Day: Two children (in 8th grade and under) will be admitted free with each adult ticket purchased at regular price. This offer is valid on the day of the game only.
Northwestern Faculty & Staff Day: All full-time NU Faculty & Staff Members can purchase tickes for half-price! Tickets must be ordered in advance through the Wildcat Ticket Office (847.491.CATS). To take part in the special events planned for NU Faculty & Staff Members, please e-mail wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu before September 4.

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Food Drive: The Northwestern Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be collecting nonperishable food before the Wildcats' game, so be sure to support this effort
by bringing food items to this game.
Student-Athlete Ceremony: Throughout the game, Northwestern will be recognizing the accomplishments of the Wildcat teams and individuals from the Winter and Spring seasons.
November 18 vs. Illinois
Scout Day & Youth Football Day: Northwestern is offering scout troops and youth teams an opportunity to raise money for their teams and troops, as well as purchase tickets to this game at a special discounted price. Prizes will be awarded to teams and troops throughout the game. For more information, please e-mail wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
The Rivalry Game: The Wildcats are celebrating the 100th matchup with downstate rival Illinois. Special events and giveaways will be part of the celebration, so be part of history by purchasing tickets for this game. Tickets start as low as $30 and can be purchased by calling 847.491.CATS or by visiting NUsports.com!
Group Ticket Information:
Plan a large group outing (50 people or more) to a Wildcat Football game and you can purchase single-game tickets for half-off the regular ticket price (Ohio State tickets are NOT eligible for the group discount). Plus, all group leaders will receive a personalized NU replica jersey and will be entered into a drawing to win four tickets to the NU-Ohio State game on November 11. The group will receive a welcome message on the videoboard, as well as a select number of Wildcat premium items and game programs.
All groups must have at least 50 people to be eligible for the discount.
* $15 for sideline seats to Eastern Michigan and New Hampshire
* $25 for sideline seats to Purdue, Michigan State and Illinois
