EVANSTON, Ill. -- Senior forward A.J. Glasauer (Freiburg, Germany/Theodor-Heuss Gymnasium) will join the 2006 Big Ten Women's Basketball Foreign Tour, which was announced Thursday by the conference office.
The 12-member squad will travel to Denmark, Norway and Sweden from July 18-28 and will play four games over 11 days, while also enjoying the culture and sites the countries have to offer. The team includes student-athletes from 10 of the 11 conference institutions and will be coached by Illinois' Theresa Grentz.
Glasauer, one of four seniors on the Tour, started every game for the 'Cats and was second on the team with 11.1 ppg last season. She was also second on the team in assists, recording 94 during the 2005-06 campaign.
