EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern junior Alice Kim (Los Angeles, Calif./Brentwood) picked up her second Big Ten Conference Golfer of the Week honor today and the third of her career for her performance at last weekend's Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz.
Kim placed 11th at the event, shooting a 3-over 219 for the tournament. She posted the best finish and lowest score of any Big Ten golfer competing on the four teams in action last week.
She carded rounds of 73, 74 and 72 on the par-72 course. Her play helped the Wildcats finish third among a field of 15 teams, primarily made up of Big 12 and Big Ten schools.
Kim earned her first Big Ten Golfer of the Week honor her freshman season, and then picked honor number two in February for her showing at the Central District Invitational.
