TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Junior Chris Wilson (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Coffman) fired an even-par 72 on Tuesday to finish 1-under and in 12th place at Florida State's Seminole Intercollegiate. Wilson finished 4-under for his last 36 holes after starting the tourney with a 3-over 75.

As a team, the 12th-ranked Wildcats finished ninth in the 13-team field. Northwestern finished 17-over (290-294-297=881), five strokes behind Virginia and 10 back of seventh-place UCF. Coastal Carolina won the event with a 13-under 851.

Sophomore Kyle Moore (Dublin, Ohio/Dublin Sciot) and senior Dillon Dougherty (Woodland, Calif./Woodland) both recorded 2-over 74's on Tuesday and finished 30th and 40th, respectively. Moore was 5-over (69-78-74=221) for the 54 holes and Dougherty was 7-over (77-72-74=223).

After opening the tourney with an even-par 72, junior David Merkow (Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead Union) carded his second-straight 77 to finish 10-over (72-77-77=226) and in 49th place.

Sophomore Dan Doyle (Rochester, Mich./Stoney Creek) notched a 13-over 229 (74-77-78=229) for 58th place.

The Wildcats return to action with a dual match versus South Carolina on Monday, March 20 in Hilton Head, S.C.
