EVANSTON, Ill. -- Junior Matt Grevers (Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest) is featured in Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd section in the Feb. 20 issue after breaking one school and two pool records Feb. 3 against No. 6 Michigan.
Grevers is a three-time Big Ten Swimmer of the Week in 2005-06 and earned Collegeswimming.com national Swimmer of the Week honors Jan. 19. He is the defending NCAA champion in the 100 backstroke.
Northwestern returns to action this season Feb. 23-25 at the Big Ten Championships in Bloomington, Ind.
