The Game
In the wake of a thrilling 78-76 overtime win at Purdue last week, Northwestern now seeks to ride that momentum into Bloomington, Ind. when the 'Cats battle No. 22 Indiana at 7 p.m. Wednesday night at Assembly Hall.

Northwestern is led by seniors Vedran Vukusic and Mohamed Hachad, both of whom are coming off season best efforts in the overtime win at Purdue. Vukusic, the Big Ten's leading scorer with 20.5 ppg, tallied a season-best 29 points on a career-high 12 field goals, including four three-pointers while Hachad also recorded a season-high with 20 points and hit a career-best four from behind the arc. Vukusic took over in the overtime period, scoring eight of NU's 12 points.

Northwestern has won two of three and three of the last five against Indiana, but are still searching for its first win at Assembly Hall.

Indiana is coming off two straight road defeats at Iowa (1/24) and Minnesota on Sunday. They are led by Marco Killingsworth who is third in the Big Ten with 19.2 ppg.

A Northwestern Win Would ...

  • Give the 'Cats their third Big Ten road victory of the season-the most in the Bill Carmody era and the most since 1999 when NU won three Big Ten games on the road.
  • Give the Wildcats their third win in the last four meetings with the Hoosiers and fourth in the last six.
  • Give NU its first win at Assembly Hall and its first win in Bloomington since 1968.
  • Improve NU to 4-4 in the Big Ten.
