EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's Nadia Bibbs (Chicago, Ill./Hillcrest) of women's basketball has been named Hilton Garden Athlete of the Week.
Bibbs, a sophomore, scored a career-and team-high 15 points in Saturday's loss to Nebraska. The Chicago native shot 71 percent (5-of-7) from the field, and hit on 3-of-4 three-point attempts. Bibbs also was 2-of-3 from the line and pulled down three rebounds.
No male recipient was chosen as no men's teams were in action last week.
